Make sure you stop by and introduce yourself! A bit about who you are, what you struggle with, your favourite breakfast – anything goes.

Greetings, is this place still active? Would be great to meet like-minded individuals.

Covid got me building DIY gym equipment, now I prefer to work out outdoors

    Welcome Marek!
We haven’t quite got the forum buzzing as of yet 🙂 As with everything these things take time – but happy you came to say hi!

What have you built so far?

No problem, happy to be part of the buzz. I used to go to a strongman gym, missed out on buying a kettlebell for the pandemic. So I’ve turned an old sports bag into my main sandbag for lifts, plus utilised an old car tire with rope for a sled. Hardest part so far is finding a consistent set up for Turkish getups using the bag, I’ve strapped two belts round it and it’s been the best result so far to pick up but it needs constant readjustment since the bag contents moves. Over all it’s mainly heavy sandbag training, with and extra sled to pull around. It’s given me a sense of pride making it than buying expensive equipment

    Morning Wolves,

    I’m Kurt from the UK.

I’ve following the Instagram page for a while and been thinking “these workouts look great” but never actually trying them.

Lockdown has seen a resurface of mental health problems which in turn has seen a resurgence in bad habits.

Basically need a fire lit under my ass, I’m 40 and far from where I want to be. I’m great at planning, less so the execution.

Gonna start with the Proving Ground home workouts and go from there.

    Skàl.

    Hello all,
Stumbled on the site and thought it looked interesting. Anyone actively training?

Hi, I’m Oscar, 26M, living in South London. Joining to get back into training more regularly – I played prop in a rugby team at school and uni for about 15 years, and have fallen out of a decent workout routine since finishing uni. Have noticed a decrease in focus and an increase in bad habits since leaving school, so trying to rebuild and improve all aspects (mental and physical) – have been dieting to lose some lockdown weights for 2.5 months with some way to go, and need to start incorporating exercise back in as I want to start BJJ and Thai boxing soon, which I’d like to do competitively. I also need to start taking on other good habits that may help with focus and other psychological facets of my life, so any advice here would be great!
